Impala Terminals Group facilitates the global trade of commodities by offering producers and consumers reliable and efficient access to international markets. Through our network of more than 45 strategically located assets and operations in 29 countries we provide critical storage and logistics infrastructure services to energy and dry bulk customers around the world. The company is a joint venture between Trafigura, a market leader in the global commodities industry, and the industry super-owned global fund manager, IFM Investors.
The assets we own, manage and operate are supported by connections and infrastructure to optimise turnaround times. In parallel, we provide a range of value-adding services, such as blending and quality control, to create value for our customers at a competitive price.
Our experienced teams bring extensive knowledge and understanding of the local market and operating environment. We take pride in providing reliable, consistent and quality service at every stage of the value chain.
Wherever we operate, we are committed to conducting our activities in a manner that is safe and that protects our employees, the environment and the local communities. HSEC has and will always be our top priority and, as a result, we have strict safety protocols and HSEC targets at all of our assets.
To ensure the long-term sustainability of our business each of our assets is backed by one or more anchor customer. To complement this, we also seek to diversify our businesses with third party customers, and consider all of our customers as partners with whom we look to build long-lasting relationships.
Impala Terminals is uniting its businesses as one company: a single management organisation will cover globally the Liquid Bulk, Dry Bulk & 3PL Logistics segments:
- Dry Bulk & Logistics connects producers and consumers by operating critical infrastructure and offering value-added services to provide a “one stop shop” solution with the highest levels of safety and customer service.
- Liquid Bulk provides liquid and gas energy producers, retailers and traders with the safe, clean and efficient storage and handling of their products.
The shareholding structure of Impala Terminals Group today primes our business for growth, bringing together Impala’s operational know-how; the trading expertise of Trafigura; and the investment experience of IFM Investors.
