Impala appoints Nicolas Konialidis as CEO
Nicolas Konialidis has been appointed CEO of Impala, Trafigura's global warehousing and logistics company that specialises in the transportation and storage of bulk commodities.
Nicolas (Nic) Konialidis joined Trafigura's finance team in 1996 and most recently held the position of Head of Structured Finance and Trade Finance. In this role, Nic was responsible for the financing of Trafigura’s global structured finance activity, global trade flows and many of the Group’s fixed industrial assets worldwide.

Impala was formed in 2010 following the consolidation of Trafigura's bulk commodity, warehousing and logistics activities.
Before joining Trafigura, Nic worked at BP for five years in BP Finance and BP Oil International Ltd. Nic holds a BSc in Chemistry from Imperial College in the UK and a qualification from the Chartered Shipbrokers Institution.
